THE FUNCTIONS OF LEARNERS´ LANGUAGE
The purpose of learners´language are functions. Different tasks and activities assigned to use language in the classroom are part of the purposes. During the lesson there are interactions with teacher and students which are useful to recognize and learn the functions of the language. They have soma variations and work in orden to some factors such as age, level, needs and context. Examples to identify the role of functions in a communication are greeting, recommendation, narrating, apologizing, asking for clarification, and so on.
