    It involves becoming grown up physically, mentally and emotionally. It is an important factor that teachers should take into account to avoid wasting effort. Children have different level of maturity than young and adults.

Children: they mature at their own pace in each area of development. They have a necessity for move around, concentrate for short periods of time, learn through manipulating and experiencing, not control their own behavior, performances actions, and deeds, not afraid to take risks, not aware of their actions, pay attention to meaning in language, develop cognitive skills and the motivation to learn the language is part of general motivation to communicate and learn.

Teenagers: They attain maturity at the ages from 13 to 17. They build skills to became self-sufficient. In Learning terms, they start to keep still for longer periods but still need to move, begin to learn in abstract ways through analysis, thinking and experiencing, control and plan their own behavior, worry about what others think of themselves, and pay attention to meaning and increasingly to form.

Adults: They are able to keep long-term commitments. Thus, they able to keep still for longer periods, can concentrate for longer periods, learn in abstract ways, plan and control their behavior, not willing to make mistakes, pay attention to form and meaning in language, have mature cognitive skills, and motivate themselves.
