Ways to acquire a language

Some researchers have studied some different ways to acquire a language that involves some factors: 

1. Language acquisition

To learn a new language it is good to be exposed to. If someone wants to learn English, he/she should be developing their skills in different ways. Listening and reading are receptive, so that ,the exposure you have to authentic language in use. People can be exposed by reading some books, and articles in English and for listening it is necessary to watch movies, series and listening to music. It will help a lot with the correct pronunciation. Meanwhile, speaking and writing are productive skills, so that the action of producing language as part of the process of second language learning. To improve those skills, you can ask you can record yourself and realize your mistakes and correct them.

2. Interaction

Language means communication, so that it is important to learn with the help of friends or classmates. It could be difficult to talk with others the first days you are learning because you feel nervous or you are embarrased to make mistakes, but it is normal in learning. You must put into practice all you have learned. 

3. Form 

To be exposed and interact with others are not enough to learn a language because when you progress, you must learn some language rules to improve. For example, grammar structure, tenses, lexis, syntax, pronunciation, etc.
