Reasons to use supplementary materials:
a. Complete some information that was missing in the coursebook.
b. Teacher can look up for materials according to students' needs and interesting.
c. Give something new to students. It means not to depend only on the coursebook.
Materials and activities must be organized and detailed and clear for students to practice the topic learnt. Now, there will be an explanation about some advantages and disadvantages of the most common materials used by teachers and students.
